Silent Loudspeaker- Innovation Beyond Boundaries.

Case study and task

Your individual loudspeaker, no one else can hear.

On a warm Sunday afternoon, you are standing before the great "Mona Lisa" painting in the Louvre Museum in Paris. You are listening to audio explanations about this timeless masterpiece. Your friend Nick stands a bit further to the right, looking curiously at the painting.

You say: “Wow, did you know that the Mona Lisa has its own mailbox in the Louvre? People from all over the world send her letters and postcards! And it was stolen from the Louvre in 1911 and was missing for over two years before being recovered!" Just as you're about to discover another fascinating fact about this creation, your friend says:

-           "Where do you get all this information from?" - he sounds confused.

-           "Can't you hear the audio explanation?" - you reply, pointing toward the audio device just in front of you below the painting.

-           "I don't hear anything," he confessed.

Trying to solve the mystery, all of you approach the museum attendant. Asking her to tell you more about this audio technology.
